2/5/2023 Ch. 662 of 2022 Requires residential health care facilities to update residents, authorized family members, and guardians of residents of the presence of an infection and to have in their pandemic emergency plan a plan or procedure for designating a separate cohort area.
2/7/2023 Ch. 673 of 2022 Regulates immigration bail businesses as follows: prohibits electronic monitoring as a condition of bail, requires immigration bond companies to disclose the sources of funding for lawyers to which they refer clients, inform clients that they have a right to choose their own legal counsel and establishes a cap on immigration bond premiums.
2/8/2023 Ch. 586 of 2022 Establishes a reserved bed day policy for individuals residing in New York State Veterans’ Homes.
2/13/2023 Ch. 503 of 2022 Requires notice to be provided to customers at least 45 days before a telephone corporation intends to change a customer’s telephone service from copper-based telephone lines to fiber optic-based telephone lines.
2/13/2023 Ch. 531 of 2022 Requires the Municipal Police Training Council and the Division of State Police to develop policies and procedures for police officers to notify family members in-person of a relative’s death in certain circumstances.
2/14/2023 Ch. 708 of 2022 Requires industrial development agencies to notify a taxing jurisdiction of the expiration of a PILOT agreement two years prior to the expiration of such agreement or immediately upon early termination.
2/15/2023 Ch. 575 of 2022 Authorizes election registration records of victims of sexual violence to be kept confidential in certain cases.
2/19/2023 Ch. 604 of 2022 Clarifies that workers shall not be punished or subjected to discipline by employers for lawful absences.
2/19/2023 Ch. 620 of 2022 Expands eligibility under the New York State Young Farmers Loan Forgiveness Incentive Program to farmers who have produced agricultural products for no more than ten years.
2/19/2023 Ch. 722 of 2022 Establishes the Warehouse Worker Protection Act requiring employers to provide a written description of quotas to which employees are subject and states that employees shall not be required to meet quotas that prevent compliance with meal or rest periods or use of bathroom facilities.
2/21/2023 Ch. 652 of 2022 Establishes the Agricultural and Farmland Viability Protection Fund.
2/26/2023 Ch. 805 of 2022 Establishes the crimes of unlawful dissemination of a

personal image in the first and second degrees and creates a right of private action for such offenses.

2/28/2023 Ch. 822 of 2022 Requires notification of changes to the model contract with managed care providers under the medical assistance program on the Department of Health website and in the state register.
