Requires the State’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) program compliance reports to include standardized prepayment declarations and requires the Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development to make publicly available records of all certifications as well as records of all revocations of certifications for convictions for fraudulent activity associated with the MWBE program. |

4/15/2023 | Ch. 574 of 2022 | Imposes restrictions on the purchase, sale, and possession of catalytic converters by vehicle dismantlers and scrap processers, including requiring the maintenance of records of ownership of catalytic converters as a major component part; also requires new motor vehicle dealers and qualified dealers to stock etching kits to offer to any person purchasing a new motor vehicle. |
4/15/2023 | Ch. 698 of 2022 | Provides that a veteran seeking a housing loan under the Servicemen’s Readjustment Act of 1944 be offered loan counseling services by a counselor certified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development prior to the processing of such application by a banking institution or mortgage lender. The Department of Veterans’ Services will promulgate regulations to ensure that no conflicts of interest exist between counselors and mortgage companies. |
