 Prohibits employees of any state or local board of elections from maintaining a financial interest in any vendor company providing services to a candidate under their jurisdiction or by any vendor or company that sells voting machines, electronic poll books, printers, or any other technical or electronic equipment. Requires any BOE employee running for office in an election overseen by that board to be placed on a leave without pay until their candidacy is over, unless they receive authorization from a majority of that board’s commissioners.
